- Are these safe for wearing with contacts?
- Yes, both of our eyeliners were created with sensitive eyes in mind and are safe for those who wear contacts. Our eyeliners are ophthalmologist and dermatologist tested and approved.
- How is this liquid liner different from your previous one?
- Based on the feedback we've received from our customers, we wanted to make some changes to our liquid eyeliner for easier application. The new Infinity Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner Pen™ comes with a brush tip for a more stable hold, easier application, and feather-free wear.
- Is there a way to sharpen the eyeliner?
- Each Infinity Waterproof Eyeliner™ includes not only the built-in smudge tip but a sharpener as well. Simply pull out the smudge tip to expose your sharpener. We recommend holding your product upright and twisting out only enough product to fit inside the sharpener. Then, delicately twist the sharpener around the tip of the Infinity Waterproof Eyeliner™.
- Why do I need to shake the eyeliner pen before using?
- Shaking the formula helps the pigment to more easily flow through the felt tip which is why we recommend this to get a more even application.
- How long does it take to set?
- The Infinity Waterproof Eyeliner™ sets in 30 seconds for all-day wear. Apply to the bottom or upper lash line, let it set for 30 seconds, and you're ready for the day. If applying multiple coats allow the first coat to set for 30 seconds followed by a second coat allowing that to set as well. This will help lock your eyeliner in place.
- What if I make a mistake when creating a winged look?
- While our Liquid Eyeliner Pen features a bold-pigment formula that dries quickly and won't smudge, it can be easily cleaned up. We have two tips for these instances: Take a Q-Tip and dampen it with warm water or your favorite makeup remover, then glide the dampened end across any places you want to straighten your wing. Or, using the Precision Angled Eyeliner Brush™, apply a small amount of Buildable Blur™ Concealer, and follow a straight line at the bottom of your wing.
- What does it mean to tightline your eyes?
- Some makeup techniques get all the attention: sharp wings, smoky shadows, high-impact color across the lid. Tightlining is the opposite. It's the understated move makeup artists rely on when lashes need more presence, but a visible line across the lid would feel too heavy. Instead of becoming the focal point, tightlining works behind the lashes, giving them depth and density so mascara looks richer and eyes appear more defined. The finish feels polished, modern, and incredibly wearable, which is why it's a staple in professional kits and backstage beauty routines.
